He graduated from the Central Music School at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Kira Shashkina), then continued his studies at the conservatory (class of Prof. Sergei Dorensky).

 

Laureate of international competitions Le Muse in Italy (1st prize), in Enschede, the Netherlands (1st prize), Franz Schubert in Dortmund, Germany (3rd prize and special prize), José Iturbi in Spain (diploma and a special prize from Yamaha for the best performance of a contemporary work), in memory of Vera  Lothar-Shevchenko in Novosibirsk (I prize).

 

Tours in Russia, Europe, USA, Japan. Has performed with many renowned orchestras and conductors, including Mstislav Rostropovich, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Mikhail Pletnev, Yuri Bashmet, Yuri Simonov, Alexander Dmitriev, Bjarte Engeset, Charles Olivieri-Monroe, Maxim Vengerov, Paul Watkins, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Alexander Sladkovsky, Jan Latham-Koenig, Dmitry Liss and others.

 

Among the partners of the pianist in the chamber ensemble are David Geringas, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Julian Rakhlin, Pavel Nersesyan, Alexander Gindin, Andrey Baranov, Alexander Buzlov, Nikita Borisoglebsky, Pavel Milyukov, Alexander Ramm, Narek Akhnazaryan, Valery Sokolov, Boris Andrianov.

 

Participated in international festivals named after A. D. Sakharov in Nizhny Novgorod, in memory of Vera Lothar-Shevchenko in Novosibirsk, Steinway, the Piano Festival in Miami, Arts Naples World Festival in the USA, in Annecy and Colmar (France), in memory of Mstislav Rostropovich in Baku, "Baltic Seasons" in Kaliningrad, "Vladimir Spivakov invites ..." in the regions of Russia, "Stars on Baikal" (Irkutsk), Crescendo, "Denis Matsuev invites ...", "Musical Expedition". He took part in the world premiere of the ballet Without by choreographer Benjamin Millepied at the Mariinsky Theatre.

Since 2010 he has been a soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic, a participant in the philharmonic project Stars of the 21st Century.
