Aylen Pritchin

Born in 1987 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). He graduated from the Specialized Secondary School of Music at the St. Petersburg Conservatory (class of Elena Zaitseva) and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Professor Eduard Grach). Currently, he is an assistant to Eduard Grach.

Winner of the International Youth Competition named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (Japan, 2004), international competitions named after A. I. Yampolsky in Moscow, named after Pancho Vladigerov in Shumen (Bulgaria), Robert Canetti in Cremona (Italy), named after Henryk Wieniawsky in Poznan ( Poland); laureate of the Tibor Varga competitions in Martigny (Switzerland), the Fritz Kreisler competition in Vienna, the David Oistrakh and P. I. Tchaikovsky competitions in Moscow (4th prize and prize of the Association of Music Critics). Winner of the Grand Prix of the Marguerite Long and Jacques Thibaud Competition in Paris, where he also received the prize of the French Society of Music Authors, Composers and Publishers (SACEM).

Tours in Russia, Europe, Mexico, Canada; performs in the most famous concert halls. He released several albums on Melodiya, Ad Vitam and Aparté. Has performed with Yuri Favorin, David Geringas, Alexander Melnikov, with many famous orchestras conducted by Yuri Simonov, Teodor Currentzis, Shlomo Mintz, Roberto Benzi, Hiroyuki Iwaki, Cornelius Meister, Dorian Wilson, Donato Renzetti, Pascal Rofe. Participated in the Salzburg Festival, the Moscow Chamber Music Festival "Return".

The first performer of a number of works by Arman Gushchyan, Sergei Akhunov, Klaus Lang. He also plays the viola and historical instruments. A permanent participant of the projects of the Moscow Philharmonic "Young Talents" and "Stars of the XXI century". Since 2020 he has been a professor at conservatories in Brussels and Antwerp. Conducts master classes in Germany and Italy.
