The members of the quintet began collaborating in 2008 and have since played many concerts in Denmark and beyond. In the spring of 2014, the ensemble won the 2nd prize at the P2 International Chamber Music Competition organized by Danish Radio, in 2015 it received the 1st prize and a special prize for the best performance of a work by Carl Nielsen at the International Chamber Music Competition named after this author, the founder of the Danish national school of composers .

The main members of the quintet are Kenny Oberg Larsen (flute), Daniel Bogorad (oboe), Nikolai Eghorst (clarinet), Magnus Koch Jensen (bassoon) and Christian Winter (horn). They all received their initial musical education at the Tivoli Guard, a prestigious military band for boys aged 8 to 16, which regularly marches in Copenhagen's oldest park. In subsequent years, the musicians lived and studied in different cities of the world, won awards at solo and ensemble international competitions, and took leading positions in well-known bands.

Kenny Oberg Larsen is a flautist and conductor, a graduate of the Royal Danish Conservatory (class of Toke Lund Christiansen) and the Manhattan School of Music (class of Linda Chesis). Trained at the Geneva Conservatory with Jacques Zone. Laureate of international competitions in Denmark and the USA. Since 2013 he has been a soloist with the Malmö Opera Orchestra.

Daniel Bogorad is a sought-after guest soloist, a graduate of the Royal Danish Conservatory, a laureate of international competitions. In Moscow, he is replaced by Kristina Vestergaard . She graduated from the Royal Danish Conservatory (class of Ole-Henrik Dahl and Bjorn Carl Nielsen) and took lessons from Jacques Ty in Paris. Since 2009 he has been Deputy Concertmaster of the oboe section of the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Nikolai Eghorst is a clarinetist and conductor, laureate of international competitions. He studied at the Royal Danish Conservatory (class of Jørgen Jensen) and the University of the Arts in Zurich (class of Fabio di Casola). Since 2008 he has been a member of the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra, currently the first clarinet.

Magnus Koch Jensen studied at the Royal Danish Conservatory (class of Audun Halvorsen) and the Higher School of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim (class of Ole Christian T. Dahl). At the age of 18 he became the first bassoonist of the European Union Youth Orchestra. Since 2011 he has been the first bassoon of the Royal Danish Orchestra.

Christian Winter studied at the Royal Danish Conservatory (class of Ola Nilsson), then improved in the USA with Gale Williams (first horn player of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra) and Rex Martin (professor at Northwestern University). Since 2008 he has been a member of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra.
