Alexey Serov French

Alexey Serov graduated from the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory (class of Igor Lifanovsky), then from the Conservatory and the MGK assistant internship (class of Igor Makarov). Since 2019, he has been a teacher at the Central Medical School.
Winner of the V International Competition of Young musicians-performers on wind and percussion instruments (Togliatti), the Open International Competition of Soloists and Ensembles (Moscow). In 2005 in Wiesbaden (Germany) He was awarded the Prize of the European Foundation for the Support of Culture.
In 2000-2003 – artist of the Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, since 2003 – soloist of the Russian National Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Pletnev. Member of the Master Brass ensemble under the direction of Vladislav Lavrik and the Wind Quintet of the RNO. As part of the quintet, he toured Russia, as well as in the UK, Spain, Malaysia, Singapore and the USA; the quintet also won the First Prize at the Osaka International Chamber Ensemble Competition.
As a soloist, he has performed with many leading Russian ensembles. He took part in the festivals Brass Days, ArsLonga, "Return", "Irina Kandinskaya and "Persona" invite ...", "Faith, Hope, Love".
