Yana Ivanilova
soprano

Yana Ivanilova graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor Valentina Levko) and an assistant internship at the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor Nina Dorliak). She trained with Ingeborg Wamser (solo singing) and Peter Berne (musical style) in Vienna, with Marie Devaluy in Montreal. Winner of the Mikulas Schneider-Trnavsky International Competition in Trnava (Slovakia).

In 1994-1999, she was a soloist of the New Opera Theater named after E. V. Kolobov. In 2008, she made her debut at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. She collaborated with ensembles "Madrigal", "Academy of Ancient Music", "Orpharion", with outstanding soloists and conductors. She has performed in many prestigious halls around the world.

She took part in the premieres of a number of works by Desyatnikov; in the world premieres of the operas "The Shepherd King" by Galuppi, "Aeneas in Lazio" by Sarti and "Moonlight Night" by Alyabyev; the Russian premiere of the opera "Antigone" by Traetta; in the premiere of the restored opera "The Cairo Goose" by Mozart and many others. Chamber music plays a special place in the singer's creative activity. Has recordings on CDs.

Member of the jury of the IV International Opera Singing Competition World Music Heritage in Moscow (2022). Honored Artist of Russia; awarded the medal "For Contribution to the development of musical Art".
