Ensemble La Voce Strumentale was founded by Dmitry Sinkovsky in 2011. It included musicians specializing in historical performance. The ensemble's repertoire includes mainly works by composers of the 17th–18th centuries. In particular, as part of the subscription cycle of the Moscow Philharmonic "Chamber Operas in the Chamber Hall", he performed the cantatas and serenades "Gloria and Hymen" by A. Vivaldi, "Cloris, Tirsi and Fileno" by G. F. Handel, "The Marriage of Iola and Hercules" L. Leo, "Venus and Cupid" by A. Scarlatti and others.

Singer Yulia Lezhneva regularly performs with the ensemble, her 2019 joint engagements with the ensemble include performances at festivals in Schleswig-Holstein, Bad Kissingen (“Kissingen Summer”), Innsbruck (“Early Music Weeks”), Sion and concerts at the Zaryadye Concert Hall ". Soloists of the Bolshoi Theater Kristina Mkhitaryan and Yulia Mazurova, lutenists Luca Pianca and Simone Vallerotonda, harpist Margrethe Köll and other artists also collaborate with La Voce Strumentale.

Concerts of La Voce Strumentale were held in the largest halls of Moscow and St. Petersburg, in the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the National Auditorium in Madrid, the F. Liszt Academy in Budapest, at festivals in the Rheingau, Halle (Handel Festival), Lucerne, Ambron, Eilat and others; the ensemble toured in France, Portugal, the Netherlands and Finland.

Depending on the requirements of a particular program, the composition of La Voce Strumentale varies from a few musicians to an entire orchestra. The ensemble released two discs under the French label Naïve: The Four Seasons by A. Vivaldi (2015) and Bach in Black (2017). The collaboration will continue with the album "Bach in White" and a collection of works for baroque instruments by our contemporary Sergei Akhunov.
