Olga Tomilova
oboe

Olga Tomilova graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory Music College and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor Ivan Pushechnikov). Winner of the All-Russian competition of performers on woodwind instruments.

She played in the Vivaldi Orchestra and the Russian Camerata Orchestra. In 1991-2001 – soloist and concertmaster of the oboe group of the Tchaikovsky BSO. Currently, she is a soloist and concertmaster of the oboe group of the Russian National Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Pletnev.

She performs as a member of chamber ensembles and as a soloist with leading orchestras in Moscow. Participated in numerous recordings on the radio, as well as on the firms "Melody", Deutsche Grammophon, Sony Classical, Decca, etc. She has collaborated with outstanding Russian and foreign conductors and soloists. She took part in festivals in Moscow, Salzburg, Gstaad, Merano, Wiesbaden, Colmar, Bregenz and others.

 

He teaches at the Moscow Conservatory at the Department of Woodwind and Percussion Instruments (associate professor) and at the Central Music School. Honored Artist of Russia.
