Pavel Seplyarsky

Pavel Seplyarsky graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Faculties of Higher Mathematics and Cybernetics and Economics) and Higher Courses of screenwriters and Directors (workshop of Vladimir Khotinenko, Pavel Finn and Vladimir Fenchenko).

The author of the script and director of numerous productions with the participation of theater, cinema, music and ballet stars in Russia and abroad; director of feature films and documentaries. Among the film works are short films "Under the mute" based on the poems of Sasha Cherny, "The Color of Clover", "Album", which have been awarded many festival awards.

Collaborated with the Jewish Cultural Center, the BRIDGE Theater, the Mikhail Bulgakov Museum, the M. I. Rudomino Library of Foreign Literature, the Sakharov Center, the Teresa Durova Theater and many others; repeatedly acted as a director of open air projects. Together with choreographer Andrey Merkuryev, he staged the ballet W.oda to the music of Philip Glass and the ballet "The Nutcracker" by Tchaikovsky to his own libretto.

Organizer, author, host of the events "Night of Arts", "Night at the Museum", "Night at the theater", "Night in the library". Since 2014, he has been the organizer and presenter of the Kinochetverg 2.0 format. In 2020-2021, in addition to works of the traditional format, he also produced two online productions and curated exhibitions of contemporary art.
