I am glad to welcome you again at the annual VIVARTE Music Festival, which the Tretyakov Gallery holds together with the U-Art Foundation: You and Art" by Iveta and Tamaz Manasherov. The focus of the festival, as always, is the synthesis of arts, which is especially in tune with this year's theme. Our hero will be Sergei Diaghilev, an art critic, art historian, exhibition organizer, one of the founders of the "World of Art", best known as a ballet entrepreneur. The famous "Russian Seasons" made a real revolution by combining, fusing into an organic whole innovative choreography, modern music, avant-garde art of costume and scenery. We will try to convey the incredible creative energy and versatility of Diaghilev's interests by presenting to the public a theatrical production, masterpieces of chamber music and authentic rarities from the museum's collection with comments from our best specialists.

 

The cultural bridges that Diaghilev tirelessly built between different countries are more relevant than ever today. We cherish his covenants and legacy. Let everyone who comes to the festival feel involved in the vast and literally limitless world of art.
